Help ReStore upgrade our home!

About This Campaign

Who are we?

Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a non-profit organization that has served as your local home-improvement thrift store for the past 12 years. All proceeds from Habitat ReStore support Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity’s mission of building affordable homes in Cass and Clay counties.

ReStore is also a green alternative to disposing used home improvement materials. On average, ReStore keeps over one million pounds of usable materials out of local landfills per year.

Help us renew our ReStore.

In order for us to continue funding Habitat for Humanity builds, our home needs upgrades. All donations will help us cover the following facility improvements:
• Install a new, leak-free roof
• Re-pave our parking lot
• Improve our store lighting
Your donations will also support the potential addition of a second ReStore location (details to be determined).

Each donor will be entered into our prize drawing!* The following prizes will be announced at 5:00 PM Wednesday – Saturday:

Wednesday: $50 ReStore Gift Certificate
Thursday: AWP HP Tool Cart
Friday: $100 ReStore Gift Certificate
Saturday: Bosch 2-Tool Combo Kit ($189 value!)

All donors will be placed into the prize drawing pool and are eligible to win each day after their initial date of donation. Any and all donations are greatly cherished during this holiday season. Thank you for helping us give back to the community!

Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity

Campaign to Support Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity

Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity (LAHFH) is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. LAHFH is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. We partner with local businesses, churches and volunteers to help build homes with qualifying families. Volunteers provide most of the labor, and individual and corporate donors provide money and materials to build Habitat houses. Most importantly, partner families play a large role in the building of the home. They invest 250 hours of labor - "sweat equity" - into building their homes and the homes of others. They also make interest-free mortgage payments which go into a fund that is used to build more houses.
